- Windows Server 2016 64-bit or above*
*Blossom will run on Windows 10, but we do not recommend it

How secure is the Blossom API?
There are multiple parameters and configurations that make the Blossom API secure, including username, password and MFA, and limiting access to whitelisted IP addresses.

Is there a list of software that Blossom integrates with?
No, we don’t have a list of software that Blossom integrates with as our API allows integration with virtually any other business systems/IT that our customers require.

How often are the Blossom APIs updated?
Blossom APIs are updated at least 4 times a year in our standard releases.

What are some common types of API integration?
A common integration will include creating, updating and deleting users, creating and updating organisation structure, courses and groups, and assigning users & managers to units and courses.

Can I use SAML2 for SSO?
Yes, Blossom supports SAML2 for single sign-on (SSO). In fact, you can use more than one SAML2 provider, so if you manage users in more than one system, that is not a problem.

Can I access third-party systems using Blossom to check user credentials?
Yes, users can access 3rd-party systems using Blossom SSO. Likewise, when accessing Blossom, you can also set your login page so that there are options for both username and password, and single sign-on options.
